Strained eyes and headache after 4 hours of makeup made that abundantly clear. I wear glasses usually, and honestly, I am so blind it’s not even funny. I would like to point out I’m doing this blind near enough. The Puzzle isn’t perfect, but at the same time it’s a good start. ![]() Unfortunately the gold didn’t turn up as well as I’d hoped, but I know how to fix this for the future. I really like the eyes, with the black and pink. ![]() The pyramid thing is the Millennium Puzzle. So the character this is based on is Yugi, the character in the above grid. So without further ado, here’s the shots and what they’re based on. ![]() It’s very loosely based on it, but that’s probably more creative anyway. It gets my creative writing juices flowing. So I chose to do it on my favourite anime, Yu-Gi-Oh! Now this anime has always been an outlet for my creativity, as to this day I still regularly RP with my sister and a mutual friend. Something I could really play with, bring in bright colours, different techniques, etc. And I wanted a little project to work on, just for fun, for practice, etc. So yes, as I may have mentioned, I’m a geek. So stuck in bed still feeling very sorry for myself, so going to do this blog then crack on with my BTEC. I totally meant to do this yesterday, but I started late and then became unwell so it didn’t get done. The only thing I’m sad about is the photos just don’t pick up how incredibly sparkly it was. I can see a few bits that I could change, but honestly, it’s what I was aiming for. So here’s what I ended up creating.Īnyways, I think it’s pretty funky. My idea was something theatrical in shades of blues, whites and silvers. This is very much an inspiration.Īll you need to know is this character is very showy and dramatic, and also very much obsessed with something called the Blue Eyes White Dragon, so I took that and created a look based on that. This one is far more vague about the theme, it is really more inspired than the last one which was quite more obvious. They’re fit.Īnywho, like I say, with his crazy hours I was up pretty late and I felt quite creative so I decided to have a play. Wedding date set (though it might change with news we just heard), and got my Crown Brush Set. Plus had mum’s birthday on Thursday, so yeah, like I say it’s been a bit of a crazy week. My fiance changed his shifts at work so moved from a normal daytime 9-6, but now is working 11pm-8am. …or, just a damn awesome, ostentatious blue and silver look!
